About Us

Regional Office of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance in the Republic of Tatarstan is a territorial body of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance whose functions are control and surveillance in the field of veterinary medicine, quarantine and plant protection, safe handling of pesticides and agricultural chemicals, ensuring soil fertility, seed growing of agricultural plants, ensuring quality and ecological purety of grain, cereals, combined feed and components for their production as well as by-products of grain processing, land law (where it concerns lands for agricultural use). Also its function is protection of population from diseases common to both humans and animals as well as realization of certain tasks and functions of Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance established by legal and other regulatory acts of the Russian Federation.
