Meeting between Nikolay Vlasov, Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, and Ishkhan Karapetyan, Head of the State Service for Food Safety of MoA, Republic of Armenia

Two meetings chaired by Nikolay Vlasov, Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, and Ishkhan Karapetyan, Head of the State Service for Food Safety of the Armenian MoA, were held on June 19, 2017 to discuss export of  processed meat products from the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation as well as further implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and Government of the Russian Federation on technical and financial assistance to the Republic of Armenia in the framework of EEU membership. The Rosselkhoznadzor representatives, representatives of the State Service for Food Safety of the Armenian MoA, and State Non-Commercial Organization Food Safety Risk Analysis and Assessment Research Center participated in the meeting.

It was agreed that specialists of the Republic of Armenia will visit the Rosselkhoznadzor and the subordinate FGBI “Federal Centre for Animal Health” to familiarize themselves with regionalization and compartmentalization systems as well as Rosselkhoznadzor e-systems (Argus, Mercury, Vesta). It was agreed to assist the Republic of Armenia in FMD regionalization.

As for Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and Government of the Russian Federation on technical and financial assistance to the Republic of Armenia in the framework of EEU membership it was agreed to prepare relevant documents for further activities on reconstruction of the State Non-Commercial Organization Food Safety Risk Analysis and Assessment Research Center.
