The Rosselkhoznadzor Officials Participated to the Events within the Visit of the Head of the RF Federal Agency for Fishery to the Faroe Islands

The Rosselkhoznadzor officials participated to the planned events took place within the official visit of I.V. Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Head of the RF Federal Agency for Fishery, to the Faroe Islands in June 18-22, 2017 including discussion of Faroese fish products import to the Russian market.

The Rosselkhoznadzor officials participated to the meetings with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Faroe Islands for discussion of development of mutually beneficial economic relations between the Russian Federation and Faroe Islands as well as met with Prime Minister of the Faroe Islands.

During the visit the Rosselkhoznadzor officials also met with the Head of the Faroese Food and Veterinary Agency for discussion of fish product export to the Eurasian Economic Union. The parties also discussed safety of exported products, improvement of export certification reliability and control of fish product export including procedures for updating of lists of authorized establishments.

On June 22, 2017 the Rosselkhoznadzor officials visited aquaculture salmon raising farms and processing establishments of the Faroe Islands including fin-fish processing establishments as well as fish feed manufacturing establishments.
