The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited the Russian Federation in the period from 22 to 27 April 2018. Within the visit from April 23 to 25 a trip to the Krasnodar Territory was made. In the Novorossiysk Branch of the FGBI "Grain Quality Assessment Center" the visitors examined the laboratory’s activities and equipment. In the port of Novorossiysk they familiarized themselves with the sampling procedure during the loading of grain for export.

Specialists of the Regional Office of the FSVPS in the Republic of Tatarstan examined 5,000 pieces of apple seedlings of varieties POSPEH after receiving notice from KFH SITDIKOV I.R. (Zelenodolsk district). The regulated products came from FH VLAS (Republic of Belarus).

The inspectors selected probes during the inspection and sent them to the Federal State-Funded Institution "Tatar Interregional Veterinary Laboratory" (FSFI TIVL) to study the presence of quarantined objects.

In the period from April 11 till April 14, 2018 the 28th International Multibranch Exhibition VIETNAMEXPO 2018 is held in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Officers of the department of State Veterinary Surveillance of the Regional Office of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance in the Republic of Tatarstan regularly check vehicles transporting regulated products.

A vehicle which transported 55 pigs with accompanying veterinary documents was inspected at the checkpoint GIBDD MVD on RT Malinovka. The pigs were transported from Avangard OOO, Buinsky district to the Udmurt Republic.

Specialists of the Department of Phytosanitary, Grain and Seed Quality Surveillance of the Regional Office of the FSVPS in the Republic of Tatarstan examined 1,136 packets of soil of Russian origin. LAMA TORF OOO (Moscow region) is the consignor of regulated production.

This was done in response to a notification from OOO MAXIDOM (Kazan).

On April 10-11, 2018 in Grange (Republic of Ireland) the representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor held a working meeting with the representatives of the Directorate on Health and Food Audits and Analysis of the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety of the European Commission (DG SANTE), led by Director - Ms. Paola Colombo.

On April 10, 2018 the Russian Business Mission was presented in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Russian Export Centre (REC) and the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam support the organization and the running of the events. More than 30 Russian production establishments and commercial companies interested in the implementation of the strategy for entry into a new export market and promotion of their products in the country participate in the Business Mission.

A vehicle which transported meat, namely, 698 kg of bovine animals meat was inspected at the checkpoint GIBDD MVD on RT Malinovka.

The meat was transported from the village Shigirdan of Batyrevskiy district of the Chuvash Republic to the city of Kazan in the Republic of Tatarstan.

On April, 4, 2018 inspectors of Department of the Border Veterinary Inspection on the Russian State Boundary and Transport of the Regional Office of FSVPS in the Republic of Tatarstan  inspected 8 flights in the Kazan International Airport.

Violations of  the transportation of prohibited products of animal origin to the territory of Russia were not identified during the inspection of hand baggage and luggage of the passengers flown from other countries.

On April 4 a meeting between the representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor and newly appointed Agricultural Attaché of Brazil in Russia Cosam de Carvalho Coutinho took place in Moscow.

The parties discussed several technical issues related to the bilateral deliveries of animal and plant products.
