Officers of the department of State Veterinary Surveillance of the Regional Office of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance in the Republic of Tatarstan regularly check vehicles transporting regulated products.

A vehicle which transported transported 8 units of cattle with accompanying veterinary documents was inspected at the checkpoint GIBDD MVD on RT Malinovka. The cows were transported from Laishevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan to Chuvash Republic.

There were no violations of the veterinary legislation: Оrder of the Ministry of Agriculture of RF as of December, 27, 2016 No.589 and Law of RF No.4979-1 "On Veterinary Medicine".

Specialists of the Department of Phytosanitary, Grain and Seed Quality Surveillance of the Regional Office of the FSVPS in the Republic of Tatarstan inspected 20 tons of rice of russian origin. This was done in response to a notification from OOO TD IVI of Kazan.

OOO SUDARUSHKA was the consignor of the quarantined production. 

The inspectors selected probes during the inspection and sent them to the Federal State-Funded Institution "Tatar Interregional Veterinary Laboratory" (FSFI TIVL) to study the presence of quarantined objects.

Specialists of the Department of Phytosanitary, Grain and Seed Quality Surveillance of the Regional Office of the FSVPS in the Republic of Tatarstan examined  4 tons of tomatoes and 16 tons of cucumbers of Russian origin on the basis of an application of quarantine certificate from OOO TK Maisky (Kazan).  OOO ЕВ "Vegetable world", Novosibirsk region was the consignee of products.

The inspectors selected probes during the examination and sent them to the FSFI "Tatar Interregional Veterinary Laboratory" to study the presence of quarantined objects  in the vegetables. The result of the laboratory examination showed that weed plants, quarantine pests and diseases were not detected.

 On  February 26, 2018 specialists of the Border Veterinary Inspection on the Russian State Boundary and Transport of the Regional Office of the FSVPS in the Republic of Tatarstan inspected regulated products and issued accompanying documents for:

In the period from February 19 to February 20, 2018 the 18th session of the Russian-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Erevan, the Republic of Armenia. This event was preceded by the 1st session of the Russian-Armenian Working Group on Cooperation in Agriculture with the participation of the representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia. Assistant to the Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Vasily Lavrovsky and Chief Specialist Expert of the Directorate for Phytosanitary Surveillance and Seed Control Ekaterina Nikiforova also took part in expert consultations and in the work of the Intergovernmental Commission.

Officers of the Department of Phytosanitary, Grain and Seed Quality Surveillance of the Regional Office of FSVPS in the Republic of Tatarstan found products (vegetables) prohibited for importation during the examination of hand luggage and baggage of passengers arrived from Baku (Republic Of Azerbaijan) at the Kazan International Airport.

All the production under quarantine was destroyed via burning in the airport’s utilization oven under supervision of the officers.

Protocol under art. 10.2 of the Administrative Code of RF was drawn up and an administrative fine was appointed under this article of the Administrative Code of RF..

The opening ceremony of the Volga Region agro-industrial forum was carried out in “Kazan Fair” Exhibition Center today. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, Chairman at the Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Foodstuff Policy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Takhir Khadeev, Chairman at Tatarstan Association of Farmers and Farmsteads Kamiyar Baitemirov and General Director at OAO “Kazan Fair” Lev Semenov took part in the opening ceremony.

Specialists of the Department of Phytosanitary, Grain and Seed Quality Surveillance of the Regional Office of the FSVPS in the Republic of Tatarstan examined 190 pieces of potted plants of import origin arrived from GBU OZELENENIE (Moscow), after receiving notice from OOO Sdelai Svoimi Rukami (Kazan).

The inspectors selected probes during the examination and sent them to the FSFI "Tatar Interregional Veterinary Laboratory" to study the presence of quarantined objects  in the potted plants.

On Fabruary 10, 2018 inspectors of Department of the Border Veterinary Inspection on the Russian State Boundary and Transport of the Regional Office of FSVPS in the Republic of Tatarstan  inspected 12 flights in the Kazan International Airport.

The officers found 3.1 kg of fat lamb from the Republic of Uzbekistan during the examination of hand luggage and baggage of foreign passengers. This product has been withdrawn as the Rosselkhoznadzor established a temporary restriction on imports of products of animal origin. The product was destroyed via burning in the airport’s utilization oven under supervision of the inspectors.

A vehicle which transported meat, namely, 1,258 kg of bovine animals meat was inspected at the checkpoint GIBDD MVD on RT Malinovka.

The meat was transported from the village Shigirdan of Batyrevskiy district of the Chuvash Republic to the city of Kazan in the Republic of Tatarstan.
